Work a day for Miracle Max

"We all know and are aware of the very bad luck that has befallen this little boy with the gorgeous smile, Max-Emil. Regular medical science is not giving us much hope, which is making all of us feeling very powerless. Many of you have offered help, financially or otherwise. We have found a way that you can really help. Robert and Niina have found a clinic in Germany, which has booked some remarkable successes, even with patients who are in the same situation as little Max. Max will undergo radiation therapy first of course, but after he has recovered, Niina and Robert want to take Max and Malinda to Germany for three weeks, so that Max can undergo therapy. For this purpose we ask for your help. These three weeks require an amount of 8.000 euro's (about 5000,- clinic & about 3000,- travel & hotel costs). It may sound like a lot , but this site has over 200 friends already, so it should be do-able.
This is our plan. It's called Work A Day For Max and will take place on November 26, Thanksgiving. The idea is that on (or before) that day everyone will donate (a part of) what he or she earns on a day to this fund. Robert will pick out a nice photo of Max, which we can all tag and make our own profile picture for that day. A Finnish bank account, a Dutch bank account, and a Pay Pal account will be openened for this occasion. We will let you know the account numbers as soon as they become available.
We are convinced that an amount like 8.000 euros is easily feasible, and actually, we are hoping for a bit more, so that we can offer the Gerritsen family a break as well. Which they really deserve.
Thank you, Kiitos, heel hartelijk dank!"
